For the third year in a row now, Britain's flagship carrier has been voted top superbrand as the result of a survey on UK consumers. The company came first, followed by luxury watchmaker Rolex and Danish toy brand Lego. Over 1600 brands were put to the test by the Centre for Brand Analysis. According to CEO Stephen Cheliotis: “Consumers are continuing to seek out familiar brands with which they have an emotional connection.”
The results are based on a national survey conducted on 2500 adults, during which respondents were asked to rate brands based on quality, reliability and distinction.
