Once again, Quantas, has been nominated as the world’s safest airline. This is according to forecasts released by  Airlineratings.com, a website that rates and reviews carriers across the world based on different criteria.

This will be the third time in a row for Australia's national carrier and is therefore an extraordinary achievement. Qantas is one of the world’s oldest airlines and has always been on the forefront of safety. At a proud age of 95, the airline is seen as the most experienced in the industry.

The list of the twenty safest airlines is a result of research conducted on 407 airlines worldwide. Among the deciding criteria were operational history and the number of fatal accidents.
