Delta Airlines trial special valet service for hand luggage

Especially for passengers boarding last, it can be quite frustrating to find that there's no room left in the overhead compartment. Delta Airlines has now come up with a solution to the fight for overhead locker space by introducing an early valet service. This service allows for passengers to have their hand luggage pre-loaded into the respective overhead lockers above their seat. The airline hopes this will speed up the boarding process and decrease pre-flight frustration amongst passengers.
The service will particularly benefit travellers who like to board last as well as those who struggle with lifting their luggage.
