If your flight was cancelled because of an industrial action at the airport you won’t be able to claim Europe flight cancellation compensation as this falls under extraordinary circumstances. The following conditions must be fulfilled to receive a full refund for your flight ticket:
No alternative flight was provided by the airline, OR,
You declined the airline's offer of an alternative flight.
