Loose wing forces Monarch Airline flight to emergency landing

Monarch Airlines flight ZB654 was on its way from Manchester to Malaga Sunday morning, when the aircraft had to make an emergency landing. The pilot was forced to make a quick decision near Gloucester after discovering that parts of the aircraft wing had come loose. Passengers were informed that there had been a technical default and returned back to Manchester.

Despite the terrifying experience all 154 passengers and crew landed safely at Manchester airport and travellers were put on an alternative Monarch flight to Malaga. The pilot in question was commended for his quick thinking and for ensuring the safety of all those on board.
