Flights to New York

The Classic destination on every travel bucket list is undoubtedly New York. Rightfully so, as the city that never sleeps is a must see for every travel apasionado. For all those in a New York state of mind, here are a few things to consider when planning your trip to the big apple.

The city of New York has three main airports: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Newark International Airport (EWR). Our first tip: make sure you double check which airport you will be arriving/ departing from as these might differ. You don’t want to be standing at the wrong airport.

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

Most flights to New York will take you to JFK airport as it mainly handles international flights. Located in Queens it is reachable by rail, bus, taxi or private shuttle. Our tip: NYC airporter. This shuttle service runs from JFK to Grand Central Station and offers free taxi service to your end destination.

 LaGuardia Airport (LGA)

Also located in Queens, this airport mainly serves domestic flights. La Guardia can be reached by taxi and shuttle services. Total journey time into town is around 20-40 minutes.

 Newark International Airport (EWR)

Located in New Jersey, this airport serves both international and domestic flights. Taxi services to Manhattan can cost between $50 - $70.Other alternatives are shuttle services or public transport.
