Travel Hack: Seats in the Plane

Friday, September 8, 2017

Going on holiday brings a lot of enjoyment with it. Weeks in advance you start planning exactly what it is that you want to see and do, let alone actually being there and relishing in the experience. This summer, take a break from your daily routine and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of a different city. Not fully prepared yet? No worries, we’re here to help you get the most out of your holiday. With our helpful Travel Hacks, we want to assist you with making your trip as cheap, luxurious and relaxing as possible!

Over the years legroom in aircrafts has been reduced and the seats narrowed. Feeling cramped makes your flying experience sadly less enjoyable. Fortunately however, we here at Flight-Delayed.co.uk know all the ins and outs of travelling by plane and can delight you with this tip!

Our Travel Hack this week is perfect for when you’re flying with two people but still want to enjoy the comforts of a complete row for yourselves. When checking in, choose both the window and aisle seats in a specific row, leaving the middle seat free. With a little bit of luck, this seat will then remain vacant after check-in, leaving you with the entire section. Hello space! Obviously we’re not able to guarantee this Hack, as the flight might be fully booked and since there are plenty of people who travel alone. Hopefully these passengers would prefer not to sit in between two strangers however, and would opt for a different seat when given the chance. Worst case scenario is that you do get someone in the middle. Even this can be easily fixed by asking the solo traveler to swap seats so you can sit next to each other. It’s that simple!

This Travel Hack is definitely worth the try, because you literally have nothing to lose by giving it your best go! Keep an eye on Flight-Delayed.co.uk as we’ll be rolling out other useful Travel Hacks in the upcoming weeks.
