Baggage handlers caught on camera stealing from passengers' bags

Airline passengers should be worried about their valuables as recent footage catches baggage handlers on tape stealing from passengers' bags. In the scope of police investigations, the Miami police department installed hidden cameras catching the thieves red handed. Luggage theft is an increasing issue. According to the TSA (Transport Security Administration) more than 30,000 claims of missing valuable were filed between 2010 and 2014. The estimated property loss lies at $2.5 million. US airports are implementing stricter measures against baggae thieves by installing hidden cameras aimed at catching perpetrators in the act.
