Air India flight delayed after fight between pilot and engineer

An Air India flight from Chennai to Paris was delayed by three hours after a fight broke out in the cockpit between the pilot and engineer. More than 120 passengers were affected by an unusual flight delay after the pilot of Air India flight AI-143 assaulted a ground engineer shortly before take-off. Reason for the dispute was a technical default which was causing a slight delay; the irony. The incident allegedly sparked a strike of Air India's engineers.The pilot in question is now being medically examined and has been taken off the flight roster.
