Mouse discovered on board causing a five-hour delay

Tuesday, November 4, 2014

Flights delayed due to technical errors or extreme weather conditions are part of our daily business. But a mouse on board causing a delay sounds like something out of a Disney movie. A recent Norwegian Air flight bound for New York was delayed for five hours after pilots discovered a mouse in their cockpit.

The Incident happened on Tuesday evening as Flight DY 7001 from Oslo to New York was getting ready for departure. Pilot and cabin crew searched frantically for the small rodent but had to delay the flight in the end. Passengers had to wait a whole five hours before the plane finally took off. This is not the first time mice have disrupted flight, and certainly won't be the last.
